MEDICAL DIRECTOR POSITION OVERVIEW

We are excited to invite a full-time Medical Director to join us in our mission to foster a culture of client education that enriches our relationships with our community. This position will supervise the process and quality of clinical programs to ensure that the highest standards of medicine and client service are maintained. A clear understanding of medical protocols will be vital to ensure that our hospital is operating in an efficient manner. Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Developing, implementing, and verifying medical training programs
  • Researching current and best veterinary medicine standards
  • Setting strategic goals for continuous improvement in patient care and client satisfaction
  • Investigating breaches in protocols/medicine

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • $130k targeted salary range. Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
  • Salary paid on 21% production; no negative accrual

Chiefland, the “Gem of Levy County”, is in northern Florida, about 1 hour from Gainesville. Chiefland is also home to Lower Suwannee National Wildlife Refuge which includes foot trails, paddling trails, wildlife dives and archaeological sites along 20 miles of the Suwannee River and 30 miles of Gulf Coastline.
