Our Community:

Aberdeen is located in Harford County, Maryland, and is part of the Baltimore metropolitan area. It’s just 30 miles northeast of Baltimore and close to major cities, transportation, workforce, and outstanding education. Harford County is a nature-lovers paradise. If waterfalls entice you, visit Jarrettsville’s Rocks State Park and Kilgore Falls.

Kilgore is one of the highest waterfalls in Maryland, and it’s just a short hike on a shaded path in the park. There are many walking and hiking trails in the county, including those at Rocks and Gunpowder state parks. You can also relax while pedaling a bicycle—try the paved Ma and Pa Heritage Trail, located in sections of the path of the old Maryland and Pennsylvania Railroad near Bel Air and Forest Hill. It’s easy to feel at home as you attend our annual 4th of July parade, holiday 5k’s, farmers markets, and other tight-knit community events. You can easily venture outside of this charming town and make a quick 45-minute drive to both Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania. Aberdeen is an optimal and affordable location with accessible opportunities waiting for you to explore!
